Our engineers scoffed at the idea of designing a light weight, hobby class system and bucked the trend of using a wimpy, little ball screw drive systems run from inefficient, little DSP or “hand held controllers”. We are the antithesis of slow so thats not how we do things. The Apprentice 404 features a 4’X4’ working area, built on a military grade, stress annealed, welded steel frame. Its massive 8” structural steel gantry beam allows for processing of a wide range of materials up to 12” thick.
Like every Pro Series Router system, the 4X4 features our Posi-Track Dual Drive system generating increased speed, torque and accuracy. Over-built and the perfect size for the smaller production shop, weekend warrior hobbyist or educational institution in need of an affordable table router featuring Industrial Grade performance.
